MS analysis enable us to compare and estimate glycan structures from glycoproteins, cells and tissues. MS
analysis is suitable to determine the glycan structures in detail.
N-glycans and O-glycans are cleaved enzymatically and chemically, respectively. After their purification, the glycans are analyzed with MS. For MS
analysis, reducing termini of the glycans are labeled with a fluorescence.
